HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. It aims to create and maintain a pleasant or required quality of ambient air comprising the parameters of temperature, humidity, cleanliness or CO2 content.

At this time, sensors are used to monitor technical devices that govern ambient air conditions. To protect these reliably against the ingress of dust and dirt, SCHLÖSSER manufactures various sizes and versions of sensor seal. This has enabled us to develop into a reliable partner of leading companies in the HVAC sector.
In this application, to reduce pressure and to regulate pressure accordingly, we install a seal opposite the measuring journal. The special feature here is the use of DVGW-approved cork, so it can be used in gas applications without any reservations.
This seal is used in dialysis pumps. These seal are installed at the motor end of the housing to eliminate any possible leakage. The challenge here was to produce very narrow webs on the part which in turn exacerbate the risk of distortion. The selection of the right material and the development of a logistics concept for correct handling means that this project can be delivered successfully, and without delamination of the layer sealant.
VDI 6022 provides guidelines for good hygiene in ventilation and air-conditioning (VAC) systems. This enables the system to fulfil the requirement for people in the rooms ventilated by the system to feel comfortable and not to become ill as a consequence of pathogens or hazardous substances that may escape from the material and into the conditioned air.
SCHLÖSSER works closely with its suppliers to provide verification of this through a comprehensive range of tests, and to obtain successful approvals for the materials involved. After that, the individual and made-to-measure component can be installed in the ventilation system.
We do more than just manufacture your Technical Parts to the highest standards of quality. We also assemble, inspect and clean them reliably – for example in our ISO Class 8 cleanrooms.
